Hi Karen,

Apologies that it's taken so long to respond. Your message was flagged as spam and it's taken me a long time to sort through it all.

As you figured out, yes...the ZENworks computer policy will overwrite the local policy. This is because ZENworks is really just applying a local policy. This is why I chose not to use computer policies from ZENworks at all, only user policies. And of course because the ZENworks user policies don't support running logoff scripts I was left with no choice but to implement this solution.

It's a bit of a bastardised solution, but without Active Directory, it was the best I could do with the tools the customer had at that time.

Cheers,
Jeremy.

I tried using the script and it does create the Local GPO directory structure and ini file. HOwever, since I am still applying computer and user GPOs using Novell zenworks on my Citrix W2003 servers all that disappears after a reboot. Does your solutoin preclude the use of Zenworks applied GPOs and use only Local GPOs on the Citrix server farm ??? I'm guessing "Yes" but hoping for another way. I don't think the management of local GPOs is an even trade for the inability to run logoff scripts.
